Meet the Maker of Our Pure Beeswax Candles

I’m Fanny Beerepoot, founder of Seven Sisters Candle Co., an artisan maker of 100% pure beeswax candles—no toxins, no additives, just Pure Light. Based in Tasmania, I craft each candle with the same care, patience, and precision that bees bring to their hive.

I’ve spent over 25 years immersed in the honey industry, where our family worked closely together in the processing, packing, and retailing of bee-based products. Those decades shaped a deep respect for purity, quality, and honest ingredients - values passed down through hands-on work and shared experience. That same respect naturally extends to beeswax, a remarkable gift of the hive long valued for its clean, natural burn.

The beeswax I use is sourced from Tasmania’s pristine landscapes—an island known for its unspoiled wilderness and pure air. It carries the essence of this rugged land, burning with a warm, golden glow and releasing the soft, honeyed scent of the hive, just as nature intended.

For centuries, beekeepers have looked to the Seven Sisters (otherwise known as the Pleiades) for guidance. Their rising in the Tasmanian night sky marking the beginning of the honey harvest. That same sense of order, rhythm, and purpose is woven into everything I make. Seven Sisters Candle Co. is more than a candle studio to me. It’s a quiet devotion to craft, to faith, and to working in harmony with nature—creating something simple, enduring, and full of meaning.
